FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about what Conectir does — and what it deliberately never does. Anything missing? Ask us directly.

What is Conectir?

Conectir is investigation and case-management software. You run the whole investigation from one auditable case file: SCAN statement analysis, timeline reconciliation across statements, financial analysis, cross-case links, an OSINT person report, and a court-ready report at the end.

What is SCAN statement analysis?

SCAN reads a witness statement in its original language — no translation, no retyping — and flags the markers worth a follow-up question: hedges, time gaps, pronoun shifts, missing connections. Every marker is shown in context with an innocent alternative and a suggested follow-up question.

Does Conectir decide whether someone is lying or guilty?

No — and it never will. Conectir produces leads, never verdicts. Every flag carries an innocent alternative, and the investigator decides what to follow up. Nothing in Conectir declares a person deceptive or guilty.

Who is Conectir for?

The people who run investigations: police detectives, insurance fraud teams, private investigators, corporate compliance and HR, defence lawyers, and government regulators — solo practitioners and teams alike.

Is my case data secure?

Case data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256, database backups included) and stored in the European Union (Ireland). Each user only ever reaches their own cases, evidence is held in private storage, and every meaningful action on a case is written to a hash-chained, tamper-evident audit log. Case material is never used to train AI models.

Is Conectir GDPR and POPIA compliant?

The security protections above are shipped and in place today. Formal GDPR / UK GDPR and POPIA alignment is in progress — the Trust Centre shows the honest, current status of every framework we are building toward.

Can I sign up and use Conectir today?

Conectir is in early access. You can request access from any page on the site — we are not open for paid sign-ups yet, so there is nothing to pay and no card is needed.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. When paid plans go live, the Practitioner plan starts with a 7-day look-around trial. Your card is captured at sign-up but nothing is charged — you are only billed once you choose to start working, and Conectir asks you to confirm the price before the first charge is ever made. If you never activate, the trial simply lapses and nothing is billed.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

There is no lock-in: you can cancel any time at Settings → Plan & billing, you are only ever committed to the billing period you are in, and you keep access until the end of it. Because every credit represents AI work performed the moment you use it, paid subscription payments are non-refundable — except in cases such as a double charge or where the law requires. That is made fair by the free sample previews on this site: the product pages show complete, worked examples — SCAN analysis, a merged timeline, a Case Council review, financial analysis and a court-ready report — before you sign up or hand over a card. The full policy is on the Refund & Cancellation page, linked in the footer.

Where can I learn how to use Conectir?
